Whoa!!!! We found these stashed away DEEP in our storage unit when we relocated to our new location! They’re all white discs so we gave them a little wipe down and viola!
We decided to work together with Gateway (and some insider tips from Amy Lewis), to create a thin profile approach/putter top. Then to make it even more amazing - we attached it to the famous Baobab bottom. This way it still feels OH SO COMFORTABLE, in your hands!
With flight numbers of 4/3/-2/1 this is a thin, and FAST, approach style putter that works really well for folks who don’t like those deep dish style putters. The Douglas Fir is beadless and is slightly understandable to neutral, depending on arm speed. Most players with faster arms can get this to flip to flat on a hyzer release; whereas with arms that are not quite as fast - this disc will be a very very straight flyer. The Douglas Fir is an excellent disc to use for a driving,or approach putter (especially in our premium plastic), while it can also be used as a putting putter (in our base plastic). Surprisingly, this disc works out to be a really awesome disc as a roller, as well!

I love this disc. I lhave a hard time buying discs because I have a very.specific disc preference. I love flat, thin, straight flyers for my midrange slot. A friend gave me an Alpine Spruce because he thought I would like it. It became my favorite midrange.. I live the feel of this disc. I have smaller hands , so the low profile fits perfectly. I can throw it straight and it has gradual fade. With more power it will turn, then consistently come back. I’d like to think Dre for taking the time to help me find the back up for my favorite disc. I’m really impressed by the consistency and the feel of the Alpine plastic .
